Empowering Young People to Build Skills, Purpose and Opportunity
Young people need more than encouragement. They need opportunities to learn, discover their strengths, build confidence, access guidance and prepare for productive participation in work, enterprise and community life. Tabitha Foundation’s youth empowerment work is designed to connect young people to practical development opportunities that can strengthen both capability and direction.
Depending on the specific programme or cohort, youth-focused interventions may draw from the Foundation’s wider work in skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, leadership and personal development, talent discovery, mentorship, employability, workshops and networking.
We approach youth empowerment as a process of equipping young people to recognize their potential, develop relevant capabilities and take responsible steps toward purposeful and economically productive lives. The aim is not to define a young person by present limitations, but to create structured opportunities for growth.
Skills acquisition and vocational-development opportunities can help participants build employable and income-generating capabilities.
Business-development training can help aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs strengthen their understanding of how to start, grow and manage sustainable ventures.
Workshops can strengthen confidence, purpose, values, decision-making and responsible leadership.
Guided platforms can help young people identify strengths, develop their gifts and receive mentorship for growth.
Employability training can strengthen job readiness, communication, workplace discipline and career planning.
Digital-skills training can help young people develop the technological knowledge needed to participate in the modern economy, access opportunities, create solutions and adapt to a rapidly changing world.
Engage communities and beneficiaries to understand priority challenges and opportunities.
Provide training, mentorship, workshops and self-development programmes that strengthen competence and confidence.
Connect beneficiaries to relevant skills, networks, resources and platforms for personal and economic advancement.
If you are looking for a programme, want to volunteer your expertise, represent an institution seeking a credible partnership, or want to support practical empowerment, there is a pathway to participate.
